This duet surprised me with how good it was. This one was a little more serious than the first one, but that worked for it. The twist was well thought out and hit hard. I'd definitely recommend this to friends, and you should read it too.

I didn’t vibe with this as much as with the first book. It was still really fun and delightfully irreverent and absurd and fun fantasy, I’m not complaining, but I was less invested one I learned more about the man behind the curtain. He just wasn’t all that interesting?
