This book is almost 300 pages and yet it still feels too short. This seems to be a trend with the Tegan Hunter books that I've read but the romances never seem believable to me and they always feel underdeveloped and rushed. This one had some cute moments and made me chuckle a few times, and I really appreciated the (underdeveloped) family scenes but so much of this just felt undercooked and like it could've used an extra 50 pages just to flesh out the characters and the romance a bit more.
