This book has semi-dubcon of sorts between the MC and love interest (the kind where the heroine doesn’t want to ask or give permission for her wants at first so she can still feel like a good girl). There is one stolen kiss forced on her by the antagonist and descriptions of being hit, but these instances are brief. All else in the book is consensual.

If you like the word "daddy" used as a term of endearment during sexy time then this is the book for you,  because I feel like I read that word at least 100 times since it was introduced to the relationship between Jafar and Jasmine.  Honestly, this book was mostly just smut and a rushed ending to give the illusion of girl power. The whole set up makes Ali seem as if he's this terrible character that no one can catch and then *SPOILER ALERT* Jasmine does and she easily kills him? Come. On. At least make it interesting!

I feel weird giving Katee Robert so many good reviews but everything I've read is just SO ON POINT! 

Jasmine comes alive in this book in a whole new way. I absolutely feel in love with her strong willed character. 

The ending chapters were filled with drama and surprises. The spice was extra spicy. The characters were well rounded and unique versions of characters we've come to know and love.

Sexy reimagining of Aladdin, wherein Jasmine and Jafar have a thing for one another and Aladdin is the “bad guy”. I liked the spice. I liked the story. There were several glaring spelling/grammatical errors and a rush to the wrap up at the end that made me drop the rating slightly.
