This book was such a breeze to get through and had an enjoyable plot along with the really food spice, I loved how the book portrayed cnc in a more positive manner but this comes as a surprise to no one as Katee Robert literally the queen of spice. I did not see the twists coming and there was major character development when it comes to Jasmine.
Graphic: Sexual content and Sexual harassment
Moderate: Physical abuse, Emotional abuse, Domestic abuse, and Child abuse

Delightful smut, but I think I have to resign myself to the fact that I won't get all I'm looking for from a Katee Robert book. (Which breaks my heart a little, since I adore her.)
For Jasmine, narrator Lessa Lamb was a dream.
For Jafar, narrator Jack Calihan really did not do it for me. His voice was SO deep and harsh in its delivery...it kind of sounded like he wasn't fully comfortable with the material, or thought he had to push over-the-topness onto it. The text is over the top by itself, it doesn't need any help!
Graphic: Confinement and Sexual content
Moderate: Blood, Death, Death of parent, Domestic abuse, Murder, Sexism, Sexual harassment, and Violence
Minor: Gun violence and Vomit
Depictions of consensual nonconsent; heroine's father is murdered offscreen but we hear about it later; the villain hits Jasmine
