I know that in this genre, readers go through a book so fast that authors need to keep churning them out quickly.  That is what this story felt like.  It's not the best written, which is okay, if that's not what you are looking for with this genre.  But I prefer mine a little more well-written.

You can literally never go wrong with a Katee Robert’s book. This was a fun little palate cleanser book for me. It could have been a little darker in my opinion but the spice was 8/10

Warning: spoilers (tagged) and profanity (lots of it)

It was okay although it started off great. For the most part, I did like Jafar and Jasmine's relationship and interactions. That opening scene???????? Yuuuuhhh

Very cringe.

Feeling some Dark Olympus withdrawal, I decided to start this series. This is much lighter on plot than DO, but Katee Roberts is the gold standard when it comes to feminist dark(ish) romance.

Listen. Once you’ve read one Katee Robert book, you’ve read them all. Did that stop me from this one? Well, it did take a little longer for me to get into. Two words: book candy.
