The sex scene in the second chapter was rough, and not my cup of tea. It was definitely SA even though the characters brush it off. Made me uncomfortable. The audiobook production was really good though. It was a graphic audio style with duet narration and sound effects.

This book was incredibly spicy but such a damn good story too!! That’s hard to find.

Katee Robert is one of the few authors that can make literally anything enjoyable to read. Even if I am not into a particular scene or kink I still want to follow the characters and where the story will lead.
I loved Jasmine. I wanted to love Jafar. While this is a very very well written take on consensual non-con, I really wish Jafar was more talkative about their wants and dislikes. He tended to "guess" a lot of what she would like. Internally he would say all the right things and just give vague or one-word responses out loud.
Also, while I am going to read Learn My Lesson, it's hard to root for any kind of HEA for Hades/Meg. They are so good about following the rules and consent at a sex club but y'all sold a girl in this book? Come on.
