Fuck did I just read?

I guess I'm just too old and salty for this, because I rolled my eyes through most of it, skimmed the "plot" bits, and kept wanting the sex scenes to be a lot smuttier than they were. (Note to author: you don't need to remind the characters/readers of the safe word and that this is all pretend play every few paragraphs, because it BREAKS THE FUCKING IMMERSION.)

Plus, the unexpected Daddy/baby girl angle? No kink-shaming around here, but damn if that wasn't suddenly shoehorned in and super fucking awkward to read.

I wanted this to be a lot filthier than it actually was. Solid, unexpected ending though. That saved the book.

i really wish i would’ve known that this was a smutty jasmine/jafar AU before i started it

Not my fave Katee Robert book. Story is a little lacking for me.

waaaayyyyyy wicked!
I think this is a version of the Multiverse where there are no good guys, everyone is morally grey and enjoy power/sex games.

I really wish we got more of Jafar in this and his character, but I did absolutely love Jasmine's arc.
