You know what, this was just as perfect as the first one except this time the fantabulous adventure also features grumpy recluse having fake romance with a human ray of sunshine. Fantastic. 10/10 will read again!

I have been a big fan of Laura Woods writing for several years now and when I saw that we were getting another book I was excited and when I saw that it was another book The Agency for Scandal series I was over the mood as I loved and really enjoyed book 1 and was excited to return to this world and characters.

This time around there is a new case and a new couple to get lost in their story. There's action and mystery and romance all rolled into one, making it so hard to put down because you want answers (and to know it will all work out OK in the end!) There's so much emotion wrapped up in the mystery - the desperate hope of finding family after being alone, the fear that it's a lie or the maybe-sister will get hurt. It all raises the stakes of the mystery because familiar relationships might be at risk here.

Mari is a fabulous main character; she is loud bold and not willing to compromise with society about that. She is very confident in herself, which was nice to see from the start. She's also working class, unlike Oliver (and the characters from the last book), keeping a shop running along with her interest in botany.

I hope there are going to be many more books in this series as I just love the wholesome feel to this world and Characters!
