I am loving re-reading these on audio! Somehow all the characters are even better than I remember them - and this re read made me adore Oliver even more than I already did. Grumpy meets sunshine really is a joy!

Such a cute book. Easy to read, funny and I liked getting to know more about the agency’s scouting progress.

This is one case where you CAN judge a book by its cover. Last year I loved The Agency For Scandal so I had high hopes for the second in this series- I wasn’t disappointed!

If you like:

✨ young adult (there is zero spice, but lots of longing)
✨ fake dating
✨ grumpy MMC/sunshine FMC
✨ plus size rep
✨ historical romance (it’s set in the 1890’s)

Then I highly recommend this one! A solid 5 star rating from me. As always with Laura’s books, I just pretend that a world war isn’t looming over our characters
