I have always loved Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and thought it was great on audio. I also finally understand the hype about Jim Dale as a narrator, as this was the first audiobook that I listened to that he narrated.

Surface-level absurdism. Lots of characters throwing insults, objects, or threats at each other for no reason. I had hoped for a lot more. The stars are for the descriptions.

this was -surprisingly- a better book than I thought it would be, :))

I reread just to remember. It's definitely a children's book, and I couldn't stop comparing it to the Disney & Tim Burton movies. I didn't love it enough to continue on to Through The Looking Glass.
This book was good but very odd. I found it to be very confusing because I didn't even know what was happening half the time. Also Alice as a character was very annoying.
