this was so unlikeable. like the plot twist. really?
hated the characters including the fmc, didnt buy any of the relationships, the only charater i rooted for was the bloody dog which ended up dying anyway
this book tried to cover too much ground like it tried too hard to be "woke" and it really shows. i think it would have been a lot more enjoyable if colleen hoover didnt try to cover absolutely every single political issue under the sun

Not CH’s best. The ending felt like a PSA

for depression

and the mature themes were kind of just brushed aside.

Yay for mentioning therapy, but not yay for having the main character just forgive a sexual assault and years of trauma with a hug and then moving on from a suicide attempt like it didn’t happen.

First let me start off by saying Sagan is a dream boat omg. Next let me say this book had me reeling for days. Poor merit has been through so much and just forgotten about. Her family is genuinely messed up in so many ways but isn’t everyone’s family? Well the ones I’ve seen anyways have been.
