Hey that didn't need to be as beautiful and heartbreaking as it was. Also has one of my favorite versions of Loki I've ever encountered that's able to be compassionate without minimizing his actions

DNF at about the 30% mark. The story just refused to hook me and I immediately found myself viewing reading this one as a chore. Sorry, book club! I'll be reading the sparknotes on this one.

I was looking forward to this one, but it took forever to finish because it fell a bit flat for me. It came across as a pretty straightforward retelling of the mythology that left the characters somewhat surface level, which was just not that engaging for me.

That being said, I have heard rave reviews from others, so perhaps it’s just not my personal cup of tea
