I really enjoyed Cinnamon Spice Inn!
As someone who loves a Hallmark romance movie, but doesn't think they make enough autumn themed ones, books like this really fill that gap for me!
I've read my fair share of seasonal romances, they can be hit and miss, but this one is a hit for me!
The setting is so gorgeous, I really loved the descriptions of the surroundings, the inn, the food, everything! I found it so easy to picture it all.
Then the side characters were funny without being annoying, there was no "bad guy" that these books sometimes have for some friction, just a lot of neighbourly people helping each other!
And I found Zach and Madison's relationship realistic and, even though there is a bit of miscommunication (the worst trope, in my humble opinion), it is resolved quickly and doesn't take anything away from the storyline.
Is it predictable? Yes, but that's the beauty of these romance books and Hallmark movies, it's low stakes and I love them for that, you can always depend on a happy ending π€
I will definitely be reading the second book, and if you're a fan of Laurie Gilmore's Dream Harbour series, then I'd say this book is as good, if not a bit better, than The Pumpkin Spice Cafe!
Thank you to Netgalley for the arc copy!

4.25βοΈ Definitely a good second chance romance. If you enjoy a meddling small town like I do, this is for you. 5βοΈ narration from Andi Eloise and Brandon Francis. There is so much tension with these two characters. Boy, did they help you feel it. I always love hearing the depth of the characters.
Madison left Maple Falls to become a food writer. She didnβt expect to go back, but when a letter arrives saying her dad needs help with the Cinnamon Spice Inn, she has to go. She just doesnβt want to face Zach again.
Zach is the town handyman. If thereβs ever a need, he is first one the town calls. Of course he would help at The Cinnamon Spice Inn. Little does he know that Madison is back in town. Back with all the emotions he tried to shove away.
Zachβs and Madisonβs chemistry is still very much alive and well. But can they both face the past and communicate for the future. Will they save The Cinnamon Spice Inn? Why is everyone getting mysterious letters?

This book is a cute & spicy small town read with all the fall vibes. The miscommunication trope evokes the vocal reader inside me, Iβm passionate that these MCS just talk and figure out. It use to frustrate me to no end but honestly I think a bit of miscommunication really helps create a deeper connection in the storyline and I donβt mind this trope anymore.

A mysterious letter asked Madison to come home from NYC. When she got to Maple Falls her familyβs Inn was in desperate need of help, her Dad and Grab couldnβt keep up with the needs after her Mom passed. So she took it as her mission to help rebuild the Inn back to its former glory and uncover who sent the letter.
The problem with Maple Falls is she has history there and around every corner is Zach. Zach stayed in Maple Falls when Madison left with his heart, now sheβs back and heβs afraid sheβll break it again. It doesnβt help that Zach is helping fix up her familyβs Inn. Maybe this will finally be the second chance they both need.

I was able to receive an ARC for this book. Super cute read - if youβre a fan of the Pumpkin Spice Cafe youβll love The Cinnamon Spice Inn!
The characters have a lot of depth and are easy to connect to. Was a quick, enjoyable read and I look forward to the next part of this series!

This was a cute hallmark type fall romance book. The main character, Madison, comes back from working on the food scene in the big city to help salvage her family Inn and reconnects with her high school hot carpenter boyfriend.
The plot was cute but there was too much time spent on Madison pining over Zach and not enough time getting to know the town, events, and characters.
Overall, the fall vibes as the weather is starting to cool down, was a welcome change from the beach reads!

One of those books that feel like Hallmark in a book with a little bit of spice.
Madison has returned home from New York to help with her familyβs failing Inn.
This is a second chance romance that is getting to give you all the cozy fall vibes and leave you with the feel good feelings. I love a small town that makes me want to pack my bag and move in and thatβs how this town feels.
I do feel like by the epilogue I was still left with questions and some stuff was left unanswered.

While this is exactly what I expected (cozy fall vibes, small town, yummy sounding food, animals) it was also incredibly one note. The entire plot hinged on a lack of communication even after the characters learned their lesson 6 years later they still just didn't talk, and there was no depth to their relationship.

A small town cozy fall rom-com. The perfect fall romance read.

After receiving an anonymous note saying she needed to return home to the Cinnamon Spice Inn in Maple Falls, Madison immediately packs up her life in NY and goes back. Her ex, Zach is now the handy man of the entire town. Things are bound to get complicated with them working so close to eachother.
Read this for what it is. A cute, seasonal second chance romance novel with a lot of spice and youβll enjoy it.
Enjoyed the audio, but wished it was a dual or duet narration.

The writing style wasnβt for me. A bit heavy handed and jumped around a lot.
