Prologue only - Ok, so I've only read the prologue but this compilation sounds amazing. I love that there is a common introduction & theme, along with the basic premise for all of the books, even though they are different authors. Based on what I've read, the stories will be great.

Wow, this novella really set the stage for the upcoming nine romances. Can’t wait to read them! The characters are strong-willed and intriguing. I love the premise and setup. A struggling village of mostly women is desperate for able-bodied men to fight for them and to procreate with. Vikings come to raid and Eithne strikes a pragmatic bargain with the Jarl. There are intriguing aspects of each of the characters even though we are primarily introduced to Eithne andantes Brandr.

WHY ARE YOU ALL REVIEWING THE PREQUEL AND NOT THE WHOLE BOOK?! Sure the prequel is good but the rest of the book is shit! Do you really enjoy 9 women getting abused and raped? Because they’re “disobeying” their husbands? Literally this is the same story written 9 different times. Y’all need help. Writing 5 star reviews on pure crap. Pffft.
