This has got to be one of my top 3 favourites from Keigo Higashino. I was succumbed to a completely different world while reading this. This was so well written and packed with emotions, I doubt I’ll be able to function properly for the next few days. I feel a number of emotions and I feel like crying. What a story.

Not bad, but the murder mystery is rather sordid and forgettable. The writing style stands out as usual. The characterizations and descriptions are very organic. There's a little bit of weird classism but I suppose it's accurate. I don't think I'd ever re read this but it was a decent short read.

The series is brilliant just that this one, even though it is well written and the characterisation of Detective Kaga is great, did not vibe well with me only because the resolution of the story was a little outlandish IMHO.
