I must say that I didn't expect Geralt to loose his witcher medallion for just trust a newly known girl by him.

Finally able to give a book in this series a 4 star. (Not counting the short stories) I would say that this is a slow burn of series for sure. Everything that had been built up towards is finally starting to pay off. Hoping that they are able to stick the landing on the final book.

devo ammetterlo, nonostante lo scrittore si perda troppo tra una cosa e l'altra (sarebbe un ottimo scrittore di romance slow burn), la torre della rondine è diventato il mio libro preferito della saga. amo ciri con tutto il cuore, ho amato l'incontro con il fantastico vysogota (finalmente qualcuno che non minacciasse la sua vita o la sua virtù) il capitolo sul rapporto tra kovyr e redania, l'amore di yen nei confronti di ciri e viceversa (che, spoiler, la chiama mamma stavo per piangere aiuto). purtroppo trovo geralt inutile per buona parte del libro, troppo impegnato a fare di tutto tranne che cercare concretamente di salvare la tua bimba mascalzone

I enjoyed this book. Did I love it? No. At times the writing was all over the place, at other times it was on point. I guess I should say that I enjoyed parts of this book. However, it still is worth reading. The story is beginning to ramp up and I'm looking forward to reading the next one.
I really enjoyed this book! I found that this novel had more story-telling of the past events, so we got to find out what happened with Ciri and Yennefer, which I really appreciated. There were definitely some darker themes to this novel, which made it a bit more of a somber read at times. I did enjoy getting to hear more about what happened in everyone's story and the ending was a huge cliff-hanger! I'm very excited to read the next, and last, book of the Witcher series.
