Kings of Construction is a home rehab show a la Dream Home Makeover. They help people that are in need for various reasons and make their homes dreams come true. One family has a daughter with cancer, one family has a homeless shelter, etc. 

Paige is the field producer who is overqualifed and underappreciated by the company that owns the show. Paige dreams of being a producer. Specifically of producing a show about the hardships of women in the film industry. 

Gannon is one of the primary people on the show along with his twin sister Cat. Gannon finds himself in love with Paige. Paige cannot be bothered with a relationship that she worries will come between her dreams. 

As the corporation that owns the show does their best to exploit any relationship Gannon and Paige might have, Paige is trying to deny that anything is happening between them at all.

I’ve been on a Lucy score binge since I read one book a few days ago and I’m obsessed.

I love the way she writes and that it’s the man that falls first and has to chase and push the woman to see how beautiful they could be together, the fmc is always strong willed, career driven and not looking for serious and I really enjoy the role reversal, this book was no different.

I marked it down a star because I despise the pet name ‘Honey’ like I legit cringe every time I read it, sue me.
