It pains me to rate this book so low, I almost dnf but I struggles through it because I have loved every thing else by V. E. Schwab but..... this was not for me. it really bothered me that the male main character who struggles so deeply with depression asks for something that will make him happy but only asks for 1 year. Idk it's hard for me to explain but I found that hard to believe
