From all the reviews and hype I expected more from this book. The plot had a lot of potential and when I started reading I was completely invested, I really loved it, but after a while things started to slow down and I found the story going nowhere. Henry's character was completely wasted and lacking a bit more of personality. I relate to his struggles a lot but he could have been much more, the only purpose he had in the book was to remember Addie and tell her story. There wasn't even a epic love story, they were together just because Henry could remember Addie and Addie was inmune to a Henry's curse, that's it. It was disappointing. I did enjoy the art in the book, and the way it was written. It wasn't a bad book, but could have been much better.

I thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book. Both heart warming and heart breaking, as a life lived for 300 years has its fair share of both. A story about the strength of a woman who desires to belong to no one but herself and though she suffers and sometimes falters, she does not give in, does not lose herself to time, and that is beautiful.

I loved this book! The last 50 pages had me on an emotional roller coaster. So many beautiful quotes in this book and just reminds you of the value of time and making memories with the people you love.πŸ«ΆπŸ’™β³

This book is beautiful. The way that the author describes every character and ever moment is like poetry.

This book is very different from other books. It's subtle and it draws you in and you can't even tell why.

Books should have conflict, and this book certainly had conflict. But it was quiet and a feeling and hard to describe with words. I've never read a book like that before. This is so character driven that I couldn't even describe the major conflict, it's just something you feel. You just have to read it.

The only issue I had with this book was how slow going it was for the first third or so. But it is so worth it in the end. It's especially impressive  because despite the fact that this book is so far from the typical genres and moods I read, it absolutely managed to draw me in.

And speaking of the end, the one in this book is beautiful. As I neared closer to the last pages, I still had no idea where it was going to go. There were so many possibilities and so many of them would have been thoroughly wrong. The author managed to pick the perfect ending and execute it in the perfect way. I feel bittersweet, but content.

I liked this book more than I expected. Little twist towards the end, very captivating. Characters are a little repetitive but still something lovable about them
