Learned so much from Alice in this book. I really loved learning about the ways in which activism can be more accessible, and hearing her reimagined futures!

This was kind of a random collection of essays, interviews, emails, texts, writings by Alice Wong about her life and struggles and the Disability Visibility project. It was a nice introduction to her life and work.

Important reflections & must-read perspective. I didn't always like the format -- a collection of essays -- but the book got better and more personal as it went on and I felt like Alice's voice shone through more and more as I read.

an interesting way to approach a memoir.
my only complaint was that for a book that centers accessibility, some of the fonts chosen made it hard to read

Hard to measure pace of a collection, there's no beginning/middle/end

Alice Wong's voice is assertive and playful and this book is really fun to read because it's written in such a creative way - it is part essay, interview transcript, recipes, graphics, and autobiography. This book has also prompted a lot of reflection about how ableism has shaped the way I think and see things.
