I love these books because of the look into what life was like in India at this time and all the different cultures and how they interact with each other. I really connect with Perveen and her sense of duty. A good mystery wrapped up in a great historical fiction.

I really enjoy this mystery series - young female lawyer in 1920's Bombay - navigating the politics of the time and the mystery murder.

I love love love Ms. Massey's writing. The Parveen Mistry series is just a delight and its a truly a treat to be immersed in her world. This one was slightly off, the pacing and the story was a little hard to connect with. I did learn a few things about Jinnah, I was fascinated with that and it reminded me why I love this series in the first place. Highly highly recommend this series!
