THIS BOOK WAS SO CUTEE AHRGGG
I loved the rep on queer ppl
Also loved how they showed the characters home life and how it wasn’t all perfect

I liked it, I thought it was a good book, I liked the story. Idk why I liked it the way I did considering I'm not a huge contemporary fan but yeah. I liked the writing and I liked the concept of Dear Locker 89. Plot is kinda basic but it didn't bother me. Not an intellectual book review. I liked it and that's all I really have to say on that lol. 3.5/5 but I'll round.

oh dear lord the main character is INSUFFERABLE. someone needs to knock her off her high horse and let her know that contrary to what she believes a rich white boy can have it bad and she doesn't know everything about dating. the white boy deserved better and she's a terrible friend

Similar hook to I Kissed Shara Wheeler, but felt very different.

I’m in love with Brougham. Darcy felt super real in a way most main characters aren’t. Loved this.

The thing that is really amazing in this one is how not a thing that Darcy's sister has transitioned and how her parents have already moved on from Darcy's coming out as bi. SO REFRESHING that this isn't an issue book, but just about the characters. I also loved how low key funny this book was. I snorted when Brougham and Darcy talk about One Direction ("He knows what he did") and when Darcy is sad so Ainsley sucks it up and orders bread bowls.
