Shoutout paula for finding the worst sapphic romance in a little free library. Not shoutout me for suggesting that we start a buddy read after paula said that they used the word "clam jammed" in the first ten pages because i thought it'd be funny.

3.5. The chemistry between Erin and Cassie was well-written and, overall, their story was a fun one. However, I really struggled with the resolution. There was all of this build-up to what I hoped would be a climactic reveal of their relationship, just for us to find out that Parker has known for several months and not said anything? I feel like Cassie got off the hook so easily and it was a little frustrating. Additionally, age-gap relationships aren’t typically my thing so that was a bit of a struggle—especially considering that this is Cassie’s friend’s mother—but I did my best to suspend judgement for the sake of fiction and when I did let go of that, I enjoyed their story a lot.

An absolutely ludicrous ending, but we love lesbian representation in the smut category

3.5.
I thought the concept of this sounded really good when I read the description! An F/F romance and best friends mom romance, yes! However, sadly it didn’t really hit for me, but I did like it!

I liked the romance a lot and their chemistry, especially when they were alone and their texts. I feel like the characters are really thought out and their choices etc make sense for who they are. I really liked the ending and absolutely loved the epilogue! The spice was amazing but that was probably the thing I liked the most about this book!

I didn’t really like how Parker was treated. Going in I knew it was a forbidden romance but I didn’t like how Erin and Cassie were sneaking around and how they treated Parker at times, I felt like they weren’t being the best friend/mother to her. Since Parker was supposed to be the main foil between their relationship I felt like she wasn’t super prominent

Thank you netgalley and the publisher for the ARC
