I never got it. I never felt the chemistry between the characters and i never rooted for them. They felt weird together, the situation was weird, and I didn’t understand or like their dynamic. The side characters were likable but not as fleshed out as I would’ve liked, and I didn’t like the writing style- it felt very elementary, overly telling, too matter of fact in the description.
THIS BOOK IS CRAZY. It had me SCREAMING. My wife kept asking what the fuck is wrong with me. Meryl Wilsner is WILD. I genuinely cannot believe anyone sane could write this book. Meryl you are a god. What the actual fuck is this book? To everyone saying this is gross and unbelievable: DUH that’s literally the whole point. She has written the lesbian fantasy completely unapologetically and that was so brave and we should all say “thank you mommy”
Was excited for a silly little sapphic romance, but this book was not it.
