Well, hello.
While they are pleasing to the eye, can we maybe stop using cute cartoon characters on the covers of books that are, let's be real, full on erotica. It's just not sending the right message.
I liked it. It was hot. But also kind of weird as the premise is very awkward (but also that's what makes it interesting and why you picked up the book in the first place).

Regarding the ending,
SpoilerIt felt very unbelievable and forced that they would actually end up together. Maybe that's just me, but I can't for the life of me see a possibility of this relationship working out in the long term. I honestly wish this would have been a "one night stand turns into multiple nights because chemistry" type of fling that then ends with both parties having wonderful memories of that one crazy/fun/hot dalliance.

this being a genuinely good book vs my preconditioned disposition to avidly hate age gap romances: fight!!!

Again, I am desperately searching for good sapphic romances. This was not it. Could not buy into a 40 year-old doctor having much in common with a college senior. The plot and writing was dull. The best part was the strap-on scene.
