Y’all this was my first sapphic read. Choosing a story filled with sex, a big age gap, and best friend’s mom trope? Interesting choice on my part! But I was kinda feeling it and also kinda not if that makes sense? The age gap was a bit too much for me. So I’m not sure if reading more of age gap stories would be my thing.

There’s a turning point in the book, where if you pay attention you can suspect that a character finds something out. From that point on I was waiting for a confrontation! But, we never got that and learn later on about that moment. I kinda would have liked to have read from that characters POV about that even if that was her only POV chapter we got. I do really enjoy dual POV’s I think the author did a great job at capturing both the main characters voices, both of them being distinct.

Overall, I enjoyed this read and I’m happy it’s my introduction to the sapphic reading world! It made me laugh, and go “oh shit!” at times and I would read happily read it again.
