'out of context booktok quote.4'

yeah no, not my thing :) I knew what I was vaguely getting into and what I knew, I did surprisingly didn't hate. Is it a little toxic of me to love the obsessive stalkerness of Callum? Maybe but it was not the main part I didn't like about the book. Suprise Suprise it was the mature content, which is again why I'm not rating this book, even if I skipped every scene.

Aside from stuff that is a personal preference I feel as if so much was left out. Like I would have liked to see the scenes where Callum found out things about her instead of just getting them all in the same spot. Or at least maybe 1 chapter towards the beginning? THat or safe the actual stalking as a surprise for both Wren and the reader. Truly IDK just something about the way the scenes happened just wasn't my cup of tea.

Will I learn my lesson and read books with less mature content? NO, because for some reason half the time they have such intriguing plots. I will just continue to skip and only laugh and gag occasionally :)

“Realistically if I found out a man had catered his entire life to me stalker-wise, I can marry him righty?”- text I sent my friend after this book lmao

3.5ish--this was stronger, in my opinion, than the opening book, but it didn't nail it quite the way I had hoped. The plot really drew me in, with the pen-pal grump setup, but the way Callum and Wren fell apart and her subsequent actions felt a little off of the character. The way he described her once was also (personally) kind of weird for me so it took me out of the story.

The letters (emails) exchanged though are sweet and so full of chemistry. They were likely my favorite part of the book.

Great Read

Easy read with relatable characters.i saw this book on TikTok and thought I would give it a try. Callum is definitely swoon worthy. I recommend this book.

Liked the idea of a rockstar penpal, but was mighty thrown off when the fmc ended up having a kid and the mmc had been stalking her for three years? he literally paid people to be nice to her and watch her kid? then pretended he didn’t know she was a mom? big nope. stopped reading once that all came to light.
