Pretty hilarious anthology of anecdotes from the Walsh Family novels (by Marian Keyes), compiled and narrated by the one and the only Mammy Walsh. In my mind Mammy Walsh is Brendan O'Carroll doing Mrs Brown, which makes her even funnier. But, if like me you have very recently read (and in some cases re read) the other books in this series, it was very repetitive (pretty much direct lifting of passages from the other books). I was disapointed there wasn't really anything new here. Marian Keyes is such a brilliant author, I'm am always greedy for more.

I used to be a huge fan of the early Marian Keyes books, especially the ones regarding the Walsh sisters. This particular book, set from the POV of Mammy Walsh, is almost like the ones I loved. Hilarious! Loved it.

Hilarious! I caught myself laughing out loud on more than one occasion :D Very well written: quick and funny. Many reviewers have said that they were going to read this one before "The Mystery at Mercy Close", but I would RECOMMEND AGAINST that. Although it doesn't give away the whole story, this book does mention some of the things happening in "The Mystery at Mercy Close". I'm glad I read this one last.

Read in a hour. I would only recommend if you have read the other Marian Keyes books about the Walsh family.
