Not me SOBBING at the epilogue.

Wish there was some more flaws with Luke but otherwise there was good development from Cassie. Literally read like a rom com and was exactly what I needed.

I felt like this book was okay. I really enjoyed Luke but I found Cassandra a little annoying. Honestly, she is almost 30 and has not realized that her dad does not care about her? Girl needs therapy. Also, we did not really get to watch these characters fall in love. Basically, the whole two weeks they date are kind of brushed over and we do not get to experience many of their dates, just the sex they have. I also really loved Cassandra's assistant and Luke's sisters. They all helped make the book more fun.

for me

This book was like a 3.75 for me because it was good but I wasn’t sure but after the ending it’s more than that. I do wish she didn’t just say okay but it’s whatever. I loved Luke. He is too five book boyfriend for sure. I hated the little inner librarian metaphor thing because I just do but whatever. I truly think if it wasn’t in there I could overlook everything else and give it 5 stars. But I save that for when I love every thing which I was close with this book but not completely. I hated her family but luke was absolutely amazing and put them in their place. I just loved this couple so much. I especially loved the ending and how he went through all of their important moments. Absolutely made the book for me. Would recommend 100%. I’m going to give it a .5 star becuase it was that good but not completely there which is saying soemthing as I only have one book i thought was 5 stars or close to. 4.5/5

This one hit a bit close to home!!! I'm a mix of both MCs ! I feel Cassie and all her fears but i know how Luke goes above and beyond for the person he loves!
The trauma Cassie has made me get in the book and hug her! The patience and determination Luke has is admirable and should be celebrated (even if its the bare minimum as ppl say), he knew from the beginning that she's IT and did everything and anything to win her love, her trust and everything in between! He loved everything she hated and saw as flaws and embraced all her fear and second thoughts because that's what you do when you find your person!

I love the romance, THE SPICE, all the characters, Gabi is my fave tbh, i am that friend!

Morgan Elizabeth did it again!!!!

I don’t usually write reviews but I was not a big fan of this book.

Possible spoilers ahead!

I hated how Luke instantly called her “sweetheart” from the first time he saw Cassie. Gave me the ick. Cassie’s job was literally to find red flags about men but that wasn’t one? The fact that Cassie felt the need to be around her toxic father at his wedding and her toxic family is beyond me. He clearly never cared about her and yet she still went…why??

All in all, this was like 2.5 stars. There was more that I disliked than I liked but I pushed through and finished it. Doubt I’ll read the other two now.
