Overall, I really liked it and I think it's one of the better Poirot mysteries I've read so far. The characters are distinct and interesting which I think can be a problem with Christie's lesser works. My favorites being Ronald Marsh, Jennie Driver, and Jane Wilkinson. I loved that it was Jane all along that did it! The first and obvious choice.
The book also does something I haven't seen before where they allow the murderer to write the last chapter, telling how they did it in their own words. Reading how Jane planned everything out, her thought process, was really cool. We've heard Poirot and Hastings explain that someone was faking or acting, pretending to be oblivious so many times, but we rarely see the person straight up say "I found that people lower their guard when they think you're stupid". The letter at the end is not only a gimmick though, it totally makes sense for a vain character like her to want people to know.
Lastly, it's a really fun book when it comes to the interactions between Poirot, Hastings, and Japp. I think this is the 7th Poirot novel and Christie just has their voices and chemistry perfectly down now.
