Very interesting read! It was so amazing to be able to read these letters and gain some insight into the practices of the early church. The writings of Irenaeus and Justin Martyr were especially interesting as they gave insight to some of the heresies of the time period. The accounts of martyrdom were a chilling reminder of the persecution of the Christians in that day, and their strength and loyalty to Christ is inspiring.

My only complaint is the format of the free e-book version. Many epistles are shown in two different versions, shorter and longer, and the way they were arranged was confusing at times. An updated translation or a more streamlined version would probably be easier to read, but I couldn't say no to a free copy!
