A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms was somewhat disappointing as it did not have the grandeur of the Game of Thrones novels. I thought that the story was okay, and the book was, overall, fairly fun to read.

If you are a fan of the ASOIAF universe, especially if you are obsessed with the Targaryens, you must read these short stories!
Do not read these expecting to be blow away by the die hard drama, horror, and wildness of the GOT series though. These are special in a different way. They are more of lighthearted, character driven, adventure, but they are just as good as the other books set in Westeros.
The Targaryen's are my favorite house, hands down. I have devoured Fire and Blood multiple times and my favorite chapters in ASOIAF are the ones featuring Daenerys. I was surprised by all the snippets of lore about the Targaryen's we get in this little short stories and I was thrilled to read each piece of new information and history about this fascinating family. Seeing it all through Dunks POV was so interesting, as Dunk is such a good character. I loved getting to know Egg through Dunks eyes.
I loved these books so much that I downloaded the audiobook and also bought the graphic novels to go along with them. I hope GRRM writes more about Dunk and Egg.

Love being able to spend more time in Westeros, especially refreshing to see the Targaryens during their time
