While this books takes a bit of time to really get going, once it does it’s fantastic! Truly scary with a great twist. Would highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of a good whodunnit.

This was more like a 3.75 but I just don't go that technical. I didn't love the writing (some of that may be translation though) and it felt a bit cold or distant at times. I also had a hard time connecting with the characters, they all sort of ran together and I had some difficulty differentiating them which made it a bit hard to guess who the killer might be. I did think this had some really fun twists and turns. A lot of times I would guess what was happening and the mystery club people would come to the same conclusion a page later. For some of the novel I thought that meant it was predictable but really I was just falling for the red herrings and that's the fun of this. I totally didn't guess the ending!
