Wow this was not good. First, I found the narrator’s voice to be uniquely terrible to the point that it was distracting to the story. Next, the characters’ (non)reactions to

their friends dying right in front of them was ridiculous.

There was so little character development, especially with the off-island folks, that there were stretches where I had absolutely no idea what was happening to whom. All in all just not an enjoyable listening/reading experience.
