Couldn't finish. While just as well written as her mysteries I just couldn't find myself enjoying these.
Otra colección de cuentos, esta vez muy particular. Los cuatro primeros son casos de Poirot, el quinto es un caso de la adorable señora Marple y los restantes no son casos sino cuentos de terror y misterio. Algunos de ellos muy conseguidos ("La lámpara", "La última sesión") otros no tanto, pero dan una buena perspectiva de la obra de Agatha Christie al margen de su faceta detectivesca.

I had no idea this collection even existed, but so glad I stumbled upon it. If there is any doubt that Christie was an excellent literary writer (not "just" a mystery writer), this will end it. Each story is memorable, extremely well-written, and engrossing.
Next book in the Agatha Christie bookclub. BookClub reading begins on 2/1/12.
Absolutely loved this book, but I absolutely love everything that I've read from Agatha. I had no idea that this book was full of short stories, which was great because you got numerous stories, but it left you wanting much more! I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in reading Agatha as it gives you insight into her writing and because there are short stories, your attention is kept throughout.

I quite liked the mysteries in this book, but I just wasn't invested in all of the characters. I also did not like the way Agatha Christie wrote about other ethnic groups, even if it wasn't overtly racist I could tell that she was othering them.
