The Hound of Death by Agatha Christie is a collection of short-stories. Once again Agatha shows us why she is the master storyteller of Detective stories. In here you will find several situations. Again the supernatural is represented here. My favourite tales is the Red Sygnal, The Fourth Man, The Witness for the Prosecution and the The Mystery of the Blue Jar.

This is possibly my least favorite of all of Agatha Christie's books. I read it again because if one is going to read all of her books in order, one has to read all of them. This collection of stories largely focuses on the la la land of spiritualism and psychic phenomena. NOT my thing at all. I would give it one star except for that fact that buried in the middle is one of her finest stories ever: "Witness for the Prosecution." I have no idea why it was published with this collection of bizarreness, but there it is.

Short stories
Some I really liked, some really not, so average 3 stars

These stories were so brilliantly written that I got goosebumps with each one.
My favorites were The Red Signal and The Mystery of the Blue Jar.
