Cons - the characters..
Didn't feel any connection towards any of them. The one character I did like ended up making me angry. (*cough* Lowe.)
- Would've been a four star if it wasn't for.. (PROBABLY)
The mid act breakup (if you'd call it that)
- Ali Hazelwood couldn't seem to make up her mind.
One minute, I was POSITIVE it was a plan between Lowe and him. I said to myself, "There's no way Owen is seriously going to back down from the council." Then he gave his father that prideful look.

I didn't expect to enjoy this book as much as I did, but I couldn't stop reading.
I loved the characters and the chemistry between them.
There were a few decent plot twists, and the world building was good.
Overall a great read!
