33 Place Brugmann is a beautifully written work of art. I am amazed by how quickly I fell in love with most of the characters. Written from the varying perspectives of the tenants of 33 during WWII. Every story pulled you in and this is by far one of my favorite reads! Highly suggest this historical fiction!

I really enjoyed this historical fiction set in an apartment building in Brussels at the start of WWII. It hit pretty close to home during these crazy times. Shows you that good can exist even when evil is taking hold. To do what you can for your neighbors. Loved the importance that art played in the story as well.
