I absolutely enjoyed reading this classic book. Anne Frank was such a great writer for how old she was when she was writing this diary. I wish this was required reading at my school district, because not only is it an example of great writing, but I also think it really shows that even though Anne Frank lived more that 70 years ago in Europe, was Jewish, and went into hiding during WWII, her thoughts, feelings, and actions are not at all different from how teenagers and adults are today; this shows that no matter how different you think you are to someone, they probably share similar thoughts and experiences to you, because we are all human and strive to achieve the same overall ideals.
I would definitely recommend this to someone, especially a young teenage girl, who feels that no one else feels the same way they do.
