This wasn’t a part of the mandatory reading when I was in school. However, I feel like I much better relate and appreciate Anne’s diary as an adult than if I had read it at the same age as when she wrote it. She says herself that she was forced to mature must faster than others her age. While ironically tragic in many places, it doesn’t leave you as sad as its reputation suggests. It’s utterly human, and I wish she could see how important her writing truly is.
This is a literal diary we shouldn't be able to rate it
Also for those saying it's boring of course it was there's not much to write about when you're stuck in an attic for over like 2 years
And it was written by a 13 year old not a professional author
5 stars because that's all I can give her
