1984 the a work of a master writer. Reflecting the beliefs of a totalitarian regime, Orwell's book swallows you up and entangles you in the mentality of someone brutally oppressed and whose only freedom exists in thought (and not even really there).

It's impossible to really "enjoy" the book because it leaves you feeling too reflective and silent, but the work of genius that Orwell created (with its politics, language and meticulously designed plot) is enjoyable indeed.
