I haven't read all of the New 52, other than Batman, but I've always been a fan of Geoff Johns from his Green Lantern and Flash work. This is a decent little story, but it's nothing compared to the other continuity shifts DC is famous for.

I wasn't sure what to think of Rebirth but after reading this I'm actually really excited to read these and entered most of the giveaways on Goodreads hoping to win the next volumes of the DC Heroes. I wasn't a fan of a lot of N52 stuff and strayed away from a lot of the DC heroes for a while. One of my favorite things was actually reading Flashpoint So having Wally in the speed force trying to get free was really awesome! I also nearly cried but Barry Allen again will always save my heart! Good to see Wally West again. ~Ashley

This was great. I wasn't a huge fan of what I read of the New 52 (with some exceptions), but this someone has me intrigued so far. There are some things I didn't understand though because there are some others I should have read first and didn't know about. I'm reading those next and then will probably give this another perusal to catch what I missed. Namely, according to other readers, I should have read the Rebirth Omnibus, which has most of the firsts for the main heroes in the series, Superman: The Final Days, Superman: Lois and Clark, and Titans Hunt. It should be noted, but I cannot confirm this first hand yet, that the Omnibus apparently contains the same material as this Deluxe Rebirth volume along with a bunch of other material. So if you already have the Omnibus apparently you don't need this one. Again, can't confirm first hand, but that is what I have read. But if you wanted to like New 52 but didn't, try Rebirth, you might like it better. I know I do.

Neat.
It’s fun to read a DC book that’s beginning a major event, rather than the event book itself where I frequently feel like I haven’t done enough reading to know what’s going on.

My first read of this first issue of “Rebirth” has always stuck with me, so I always wanted to return. The characters I know and love, some of them I am unaware of are all tied to a universe breaking event which only Wally West is experiencing. It’s all incredibly captivating and then concluding it like that… wow. It doesn’t feel completely like a whole thing and more like a load of teases of things to come, but it completely nails what it is trying to achieve.

Por fin regresan los que jamás debieron irse. Pero no me acaba de encajar hacia dónde lo quieren llevar. Genial Flash, motor de DC ahora y siempre.
