This book came at the perfect time. It involves parents meeting together as they drop their child for an "woods" experience. It was easy to read and digest the themes of behaviors that work to drive us apart from one another. I was completely convinced my mind would change after I read it.
Now that we have attended the first workshop, I would read it again, with new insight.

Extremely helpful for conflict and empathy on an individual level, with a blaring blind spot about systemic issues, extrapolating interpersonal tactics into easy answers (favoring individual rather than systemic solutions) for social injustices. I'd give it 3.5 if that were possible.

It's written in a necessarily cheesy way, but has a potentially life-changing message...now to apply it!

This is an excellent read, extremely relevant to everyday life problems, and offers quite actionable steps and ideas. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in repairing broken relationships, building great relationships, or just trying to gain insight into some of the underlying behavior that forms the basis of bad/great relationships.
