I remember watching this show with my mom, while growing up. This story is very honest and brought to light several aspects of her story that I was not aware of. I really enjoyed it!

if you ever watched 19 Kids and Counting or any of the TLC family realities — this is a must listen/read

The last section of the book where she talks about her parents in a good and kind way was a good ending and made me feel a little better about it but... I don’t know about how much she shared about her father. I feel like it could have been less and hurt for him to be exposed that way. I don’t think I could recommend for that reason. I feel like Jinger’s book got to the heart better and was more biblically grounded in her response. The Dillards approach was more grounded in psychology and the worlds solutions. Legalism is everywhere in the universal Church. Satan loves to twists truths how will we respond to it? Stand upon biblical solutions not man made bandages. Off my soap box now… I did feel for Jill. Having your whole life in front of the world must be so difficult especially in the darkest times of your life.
