Just finished. This book gave a great insight into the Dugger family that I don’t think the shows or media could have shared with us. I appreciate that Jill was able to share her story. I appreciate that she shared things from her perspective. I know that she views it differently than I do as an outsider. I do think she is still sugarcoating some parts of her history to protect her parents and her family. Overall Jill’s growth is amazing and I hope her and her husband and kids continue to do better.

as a former 19kac fan, this was refreshing. glad jill is deconstructing from some of the harmful iblp beliefs, but her and derrick are still deeply problematic trumpies (openly transphobic and anti abortion). regardless, i did enjoy this read and am glad they on on this path.
