Warning!: mentions of sexual assault and rape.

I loved this! I love a good crime book and this was perfect. I did find it a bit confusing in the beginning because the author made himself the main character, but the book is fictional other than that it was great. If you are looking for horror, this isn't the book for you. This book was terrifying, but only because it was so realistic and it reminds you that stuff like this actually happens. Over all I really enjoyed this and recommend it for people who like crime fiction. Also, there were some Scooby Doo and Stephen King references and those are a couple of my favorite things, so that was a pleasant surprise!

Interesting concept, great storytelling, and unique layout (chapters included photos related to the case). Overall, a good read…definitely appeals to true crime fans.

It was sooo slow, no thrill. Audiobook just played in the background and I zoned out

I did not predict the ending which was satisfying for me. I enjoyed the point of view of Richard and his childhood memories strewn throughout the narrative.

Loved the writing style. Was convinced this was all a true story. Long winded and repetitive tho.
