Same issue as the first book where there's the whole world building spiel again, but this one started more interesting than Jade's story and Alice is so badass for that we love to see it. Also Luka is so cute

this book is sooo much better on my reread. i think it’s because i didn’t read choosing theo before this one. its kinda quieter than book 1 and less action packed whenever Luka gets freed but i ate it up!

Bahaha Luka was down bad from the start. Ngl the miscommunication/misunderstanding in this book had me irritated. Like I get it, different species from different planets and environments...but the amount of times she questioned him wanting her...its like girl did your Earth not have fated mate romance novels?! haha anyways still a fun read and I look forward to continuing the series!
