I loved this book so much especially how the chapters were named after songs from the 60s. The Nantucket setting is wonderful too.

I love a family drama and this one is so well done.
Oof. Lazy, predictable, and boring. The author used the same “voice” for so many of the characters. For example, what weed smoker calls it a “marijuana joint?” And what 13 year old uses words like “maudlin” and “chablis” and “rising sophomore?”
Tone aside, this was about rich assholes doing rich asshole things. Enjoyed the food descriptions though.

Really liked how it was written and the way she nicely wrapped up the ending.
Not a deep book but a quick fun read. A bit trite in places with too much detail at times with predictable happy endings all around.
So bad but the perfect thing to listen to while feeding a newborn in the wee hours
There was almost too much going on in this book for me. And then at the same time I’m not entirely sure the plot. Kind of just family dramas set in a different time. But still interesting and fun!
3.5 stars, entertaining enough, but kind of anti-climactic.
