Five stars to the narration/performance but 2.5 overall. This is a fine, fun piece of celebrity memoir, but would be nothing remarkable without the reading.

Loved the Alaska origin story and Drag Race behind the scenes details! I would literally listen to Alaska read the the phone book.

As a huge huge fan of drag and Drag Race, I absolutely loved hearing more about Alaska’s life as told by her. She goes very much in-depth about her relationship with Sharon and I didn’t realize certain things Alaska talks about. Very fun read, easy to follow, highly recommend to any Drag Race fan

I'm a huge Alaska fan and I enjoy not only her work in drag but the empathy and open-mindedness she brings to her Q&A sections of her podcast. This book was a slam dunk: I got to learn about Justin before Alaska and the windy path that led her to compete on RuPaul's Drag Race. The book is cotton candy: written for quick, enjoyable consumption rather than to reflect on greater life lessons learned from early experiences/traumas. And I needed that right about now.

Charming, funny, illuminating. As someone who was a part of The Blue Moon scene before and after Alaska’s time on Drag Race, this was a lovely memoir that took me back to one of my favorite times in my life. Reading more about what my old friend went through at that time was really interesting; I knew a lot of it already, but not all of the hurdles she had to jump, and appreciated her candidness.

Sooooo many good pictures! Inside info on Drag Race. Interesting observations of gender. Quite a bit about Alaska’s relationship with Sharon. Overall, I loved it!
