This book was very quick paced and although I think some things were a little off, I still really enjoyed it. The ending caught me by surprise again, which is great.

I really liked the character development in this one, especially Callum's.

Some of the ideas concerning chaos and the soul are still a little confusing and not that well explained, but I'm hoping to understand everything better in the last book.

Some of the character decisions seemed a little off, and things moved a little too quickly in places, but again, a great book and I'm looking forward to the next one!

I think this is getting into really interesting ideas for a middle grade books. Genuinely very interested to see how this all ends up.

The characters made decisions that didn't feel like decisions humans would make. The plot felt forced. I'm only reading at this point for completion.

Was this book ghost written? Did the authors just stop caring? Why is it so mediocre?

Also, the audio book reader changed the voices and how he pronounces words in this one. What the heck.

WHAT IN THE WORLD JUST HAPPENED?!?!?!?


First of all, can we just talk about how adorable it was when Call told Tamara he liked her and their kiss!?! Also it was so funny when Jasper doubted Call’s and Tamara’s relationship but then right after that, Call and Tamara get together.

Also I was so happy that Call managed to bring Aaron back but kind f mad that Tamara wasn’t as grateful. What surprised me was that Tamara and Jasper ran leaving Call and Aaron. Another thing that surprised me was that Aaron was like a chaos-ridden except more human I guess.

I think the worst part of the book was when Aaron died again. The book left me shaking and I can’t wait for the next one.

I wasn't expecting those last few plotwist... It definitely made the rating jump from 3/3.5 to a solid 4.
